MCO FAQ
Entertainment only. AVO helps people create a meme-coin smart contract and swap that collectible for SOL or ETH with other wallets (or with a pool those contracts define). The coins are jokes, images, and chat. They have no use. You should not expect to profit. Nobody at AVO, and no coin creator, is promising — or agreeing — to work so that you make money.
You can lose everything. Prices can go to zero. You may be unable to swap out. There is no FDIC, SIPC, or similar protection. Past paper or live prices mean nothing. When live, a swap settles in SOL or ETH on the coin's chain — not U.S. dollars. That is still value you can lose. Do not participate in order to receive SOL or ETH.
AVO is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, FinCEN, or any state securities or money-transmitter regulator. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, securities. Nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice. That AVO is unregistered is not a determination that registration is not required.
Do not use AVO if you are under 18, if you are on an OFAC or other applicable sanctions list, or if you are in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine). You are responsible for the law where you sit.
This site is paper / not live yet. Sign up provisions a hosted AVO wallet. Create and swap through that wallet so the platform fee is collected. If you do not use the AVO wallet, AVO does not take the fee on that swap. Do not send real SOL or ETH until live settlement is clearly on.
Should I expect to make money?
No. Do not swap, hold, or create a coin because you expect a profit from AVO, a creator, or anyone else. Coins have no use. You can lose everything. If you cannot afford a total loss, do not participate.
Is this an investment or a securities offering?
AVO does not offer, sell, or solicit securities in AVO. Creating a contract here is not a sale of AVO equity. Meme coins are positioned as digital collectibles you may swap with other wallets (or a pool) for SOL or ETH. That is a description of intent, not a legal ruling. AVO is not registered with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, or any state securities or money-transmitter regulator. You are not getting the protections of a registered offering or a registered exchange.
Who can use AVO?
You must be 18 or older. You may not use AVO if you are on an OFAC or other applicable sanctions list, or if you are in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction. You must follow the law of your country and state. AVO does not, by publishing this site, invite any person to violate local law.
Who am I swapping with? Am I buying from AVO?
You are swapping a collectible for SOL or ETH with another wallet, or with a pool / contract for that coin — not buying a share of AVO. AVO provides the contract-creation tools and the swap interface. AVO does not guarantee that a person is on the other side, that a swap will fill, or that AVO will take the other side. Some swaps may fill against inventory held in that coin's contracts.
What is a Greenshoe?
A Greenshoe is optional extra coins a creator can add after they pick an MCO allocation option. Those coins are borrowed from that collectible's DEX Allocation reserve — the slice of supply set aside to seed the later pool, not from the creator's locked Dev coins.
Default size is 15% of total supply, capped by what is left in the DEX Allocation reserve. They are distributed with the same allocation option as the rest of the MCO (FCFS, Institutional, Social Lotto, or Fair Share). On FCFS, monies paid move immediately into the LP. On the other options, unused monies stay in escrow and are returned if the MCO is over allocated.
A Greenshoe does not promise that price will hold, that a swap will fill, or that anyone makes money. You can still lose everything.
What is MCO vs MCX?
MCO is a timed window to create and first swap a meme-coin contract. MCX is AVO's later swap interface for that collectible. A transfer-restriction timer may block swapping out for a period. That restriction can hurt you. It is not a lockup designed so that you make money, and it is not a promise that price will hold.
How do I sign up? What is the AVO wallet?
Sign up with Gmail or email. AVO creates a hosted wallet for that account. Create and swap through that wallet so the platform fee is collected (0.025 SOL deploy, 1.25% MCO/MCX). If you swap from a wallet AVO does not host, AVO does not take the fee on that swap. This pass does not store raw private keys in our database.
What can I see without an account?
Logged-out people can browse the homepage, New, catalogs, public coin pages (read-only), public profiles, FAQ, and About. Create, Swap in/out, the MCX ticket, private wallet, settings, and profile edit require signup.
What is public vs private profile?
/wallet is private: balances, PnL, holdings, and the alias/avatar/bio editor. Clicking the picture opens the public page at /u/[handle] — alias, avatar, bio, Ripe, coins created, coins held. No email, no recovery, no editor.
How do fees work?
Swaps settle in SOL or ETH, depending on the chain that coin is on — not U.S. dollars. A swap may take a small percentage of that SOL or ETH. The slice may be split among AVO, the coin's creator, and wallets that already hold the collectible. That is not a share of a business. SOL and ETH can go to zero.
Three fee lines when live: 0.025 SOL to deploy, 1.25% on top of an MCO swap-in (creator/platform split by Dev Ripe, 25–50% creator), 1.25% on each MCX fill (42/42/41 creator / still-holding MCO subscribers / platform). Those fees are collected when the swap goes through the hosted AVO wallet.
Any SOL or ETH from a fee split is not promised, can be zero, and can stop. Do not create or promote a coin as a way to earn fees, SOL, or ETH. Do not swap or hold in order to receive SOL or ETH. If that is why you are here, do not participate.
Can I swap out whenever I want?
No. Transfer restrictions, empty books, failed settlement, chain congestion, or AVO disabling a feature can leave you stuck. There is no guaranteed swap and no guaranteed counterparty, including AVO.
Is this live? Is my money protected?
This site is paper / not live yet. Do not send real SOL or ETH until live settlement is clearly on. Browser balances are a local display, not insured accounts. Signup provisions a hosted AVO wallet; AVO cannot recover a wallet it does not host. Treat every swap as real once settlement is enabled. Even when live, balances are not bank deposits.
What is the Ripe Rating?
Discovery feeds, Ripe scores, Echos, and “verified” marks are social ranking. They are not research, not KYC, and not a recommendation to swap.
Dev Ripe = graduated launches × 100 + fees shared × 0.1 + fill quality × 50 (+ 25 if KOL). Abandon flags zero it out. Used for Top Dev, the Ripe 🚀 leaderboard, and the MCO buyer-fee split: 25% creator / 75% platform at Ripe 0, scaling to 50/50 at Ripe 100.
Coin Ripe = Dev Ripe + echos in the selected window × 8 + max(change%, 0).
Trader Ripe = realized PnL + volume × 0.01 + lockout holds × 10. You can earn Trader Ripe without being verified. See How do I get avocado verified?
How do I get avocado verified?
“Verified” is a social mark — not KYC and not a recommendation to swap. Link a Twitter / X account to your AVO profile. Paper / dry-run: use Wallet; X linking is not live in this pass.
